Enrichment Programs & Outdoor Learning

One-to-One Piano Lessons

Our individual piano lessons for children follow each child’s pace, interests, and developmental readiness.

Piano supports concentration, coordination, memory, self-discipline, and confidence, while encouraging creativity and an appreciation for music.

Yoga & Mindful Movement

Our children’s yoga classes complement the Montessori philosophy through purposeful movement, balance, breathing, and mindfulness.

Yoga supports self-regulation, body awareness, concentration, coordination, and inner calm, helping children develop skills that benefit their daily Montessori classroom experience.

Music

Our early childhood music program introduces children to rhythm, singing, movement, and musical exploration.

Music supports language development, auditory discrimination, coordination, creativity, self-expression, and social-emotional development.

Spanish Language

Our Spanish classes for toddlers and preschoolers provide meaningful early exposure to a second language through songs, movement, conversation, and interactive experiences.

Early language learning encourages communication skills, cultural awareness, memory, and curiosity about the world.

Field Trips

Field trips provide children with meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom walls. At this young age, real-world experiences help spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and strengthen social skills.

Exploring new environments encourages independence, confidence, observation skills, and a greater connection to the community.

Whether visiting local parks, community helpers, cultural centers, or educational venues, each trip is thoughtfully planned to be safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.

We believe some of the most memorable learning happens through experience, exploration, and discovery, and we can’t wait to explore together!

Outdoor Learning

Our outdoor learning environment is an important extension of the our Montessori classrooms. Children have regular opportunities for outdoor play, nature exploration, purposeful movement, observation, and hands-on discovery.

We believe that time outdoors is essential to a child’s healthy development and overall well-being. Whenever weather and conditions allow, our children may spend up to three hours outdoors each day, giving them meaningful time to move freely, explore their surroundings, connect with nature, and learn through real-world experiences.

Providing this extended outdoor experience is very important to our Montessori program. Just as we carefully prepare the indoor classroom, we value the outdoors as a rich learning environment where children can follow their natural curiosity, practice independence, take appropriate challenges, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Outdoor experiences support gross motor development, independence, problem-solving, confidence, creativity, and social-emotional growth. Through meaningful interaction with nature, children develop respect for the environment, care for living things, responsibility, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
